National Apprenticeship Week: Building Skills, Confidence, and Careers
This year’s National Apprenticeship Week is taking place from 9th - 15th February 2026 and the theme focuses on “Skills for Life”. Whether you’re just starting out, changing careers, or looking to upskill, we believe in providing opportunities that combine structured learning with real workplace experience.
One of our most recent apprentices shared their experience:
“When I first began, I didn’t have much confidence in my abilities and often worried that I was in over my head. However, looking back at the experience, this turned out to be exactly what I needed. I had always been drawn to the idea of an apprenticeship, the chance to gain real workplace exposure and hands-on experience was incredibly motivating. So, when I learned that Innovate had selected me, I was absolutely over the moon.
Every lesson I completed with Estio enriched my learning, and having the opportunity to work across three different teams within the company introduced me to talented, supportive individuals who helped shape my development. Over time, the practical experience I gained significantly built my confidence and contributed directly to the skills I rely on in my current role.
For anyone considering a similar path, I cannot recommend it highly enough. An apprenticeship not only expands your knowledge and practical abilities but also surrounds you with inspiring people who make you feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow. It’s an experience that truly sets the foundation for a rewarding career.”
